John Scott

Pac-Man

John Scott has been spinning records for 10 years all over Florida. He played bass and keyboards in various bands since he was 15 years old. He started writing industrial dance tracks before he new anything about spinning records. Frustrated with trying to figure out how a dance track should be put together, he sold his bass and amp and bought turntables and a mixer. Six years later he felt he was ready to start producing tracks. John moved from South Florida to Gainesville, FL in 1999. Moving there was a huge influence in his life. He met Scott Stokes aka. Dj Ghost who took him into the scene and hooked him up with all the right people. He joined an already popular live techno PA. Band called Freightliner as their Dj.

Spinning under the name PacMan, Scott has played all over North Florida. He’s been producing house tracks with Ghost for over four years. "We both complement each others style and see eye to eye on how a track should be put together", says Scott. Scott is currently a resident at Blu Sushi in Fort Myers, Florida and at Zen Sushi in Naples, Florida. Reticent Recordings has just released John’s first single on BeatPort.com entitled "Bitch Got Magic". John is excited about starting Rocketfish, a new label that he is starting up with his partner Ghost. They are looking forward to leaving their mark on the scene that they both respect and love.
